Municipal Court

Lago Vista Municipal Court serves as the first level of the judicial branch of government. The jurisdiction of this court includes class C misdemeanors occurring within the territorial confines of the City of Lago Vista.

Initial Appearances are held on the first Tuesday of every month beginning at 9:00am. Defendants may contact the court before the initial appearance date listed on their citation to clear their charges(s).

An appointment is required for trials and pretrials.

Dress Code: Dress must be in an appropriate and respectful manner for court. No hats, shorts, cut-off, muscle shirts or clothing with offensive, vulger, or obscene words. Clothing that is dirty, torn, or ragged is not allowed.

All cellular phones and pagers must be turned off.
