Police Department

The Police Department is responsible for law enforcement and animal control.

The Municipal Court is responsible for trials and court is held on the second Tuesday of every month.

Common Information

Alarms: Alarm systems must be registered with the Police Department. A permit and fee is required and may be paid at the Police Department.

Curfew: Minors under 17 years old are subject to City curfew as follows: 11:00 pm to 6:00 am Sundays through Thursday, 12:01 am to 6:00 am Saturdays and Sundays.

Fireworks: It is unlawful to possess, store, or use fireworks in the City.

Firearms: It is unlawful to discharge firearms in the City or to possess firearms on City property (except for licensed peace officers).
